CHARITY AUCTION EVENING

   A sum of £290 was raised at the annual charity auction evening last December, the club rounded this figure up to £300 and has donated to the following:

          £ 150   -  Horseworld – Lorry appeal

          £  75    -  RDA

          £  75    -  Brooke Hospital, Cairo

Many thanks to all who brought items to sell & who bought items, even if they didn’t want them! Such are the skills of our superb auctioneers Frank Ball & Adam Fletcher, thanks again to you both for entertaining us on the evening. 

Annual Points Award Dinner

The Annual Points Award Dinner for the 2005 Show Season was held at Easter Compton Village Hall on Saturday 4th February 2006.

Over 50 members greeted Lady Jennifer Evans -Bevan WPCS President who awarded rosettes and trophies to members who had shown their cobs and ponies throughout 2005.

After a splendid meal and an amusing talk by Lady Jennifer ,members applauded successful show animals and their devoted owners. It was good to dress up rather than don wellies and fleeces!
